Work History

Associate

In-N-Out
01.2024 - Current
  • Provided high-quality customer service, ensuring patrons received a positive and consistent dining experience.
  • Adapt quickly to a fast-paced, high-volume environment by multitasking across station responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with kitchen team members to maintain efficient operations and uphold food quality standards.

On an average shift we would expect around 3,000 customers a day to meet their needs. In-N-Out expects us to meet every guest with the same amazing customer service and quality of food. This requires me to work with my team effectively communicating my needs and responding to my coworkers' needs and shifting through both as quickly as possible and with lots of adaptation of duties. We are also taught to never say NO. For every single customer we try to find a way to say yes to each and every one of their needs while keeping a smile on our faces no matter what.

Lifeguard and Swim Instructor

Pleasant Valley Parks and Recreation
01.2023 - 01.2024
  • Instructed children and adults in swimming technique, helping multiple adult students overcome fear of water and develop active swimming skills.
  • Monitored pool area with sustained attention to enforce safety rules and protect patron wellbeing.
  • Performed routine maintenance and cleaning to ensure facility safety and operational readiness.

An average shift at the Pool was never the same. Almost every shift how we would guard attending to customers or even just work would be different. Some routine going on guard and attentively watching the pool. Other shifts I would be setting up for a birthday party or I would be teaching kids how to swim or cleaning the whole facility. I would also work for the city to make sure events like fairs and concerts in the park would run smoothly. This job showed me that I couldn't get used to anything and that taking on a new challenge was part of the job.
