I built customer loyalty through delivering an excellent shopping experience. I monitored the sales floor, organized merchandise and created presentable product displays. I handled transactions, counted change, and promoted customer satisfaction through personalized conversation at the cash register and on the phone.

I served food and beverages, explained menu items and recommended meal options depending on customer preference. I gained experience through seating and hosting residents, baking and dishwashing for 100 plus people during events and meal times, working in the 24 hour memory care unit, and answering phone calls, all in a restaurant style setting.

I worked in the children’s section of the library, had the responsibility of managing the education play room, cleaned the library section, and instructed crafts to children during events. I supervised children in a group setting, answered specific questions, and actively used customer service skills to create a positive environment.
