Built pathway(j hooks, cable tray, conduit, conduit sleeves) for the cable that needed pulled in the ceilings, per code and company standards.
Used boom lifts and scissor lifts to run cable and install devices.
Terminated cat6 cable into RJ45s and various jacks(keystone, UPT, etc.) using a punch down tool or rapid jack, depending on what kind of jack the customer requested.
Built and installed trapezes using strut and all-thread from beams if needed for RDIFs, WAPs, Cameras, etc.
Placed jacks and RJ45s into various faceplates(Paladin, Leviton, Hubbell, Panduit), and various devices then installed them where they are marked on the blueprint.
Installed server cabinets from scratch in IDFs, then dressed the cable into the cabinet using waterfalls and velcro. Terminated and placed jacks into patch panels to what the cable was labeled.
Tested cat6 cable jacks and RJ45s from the cabinet to location using a fluke tester.
Spliced then tested different strands of fiber using a Fujikara splicer, then tested/verified light using a laser light, fluke tester and an OTDR for streetlights, IDFs, etc.
Installed and terminated 1/2 and 7/8 coax cable then installed the connectors into splitters, per the blueprint and pipeline drawing.
Promoted to team lead for consistently exceeding performance expectations.
