I started off my work career by working as a Trim Carpenter working minimum 8 hour days and sometimes more than 5 days a week. It was hard work but I did enjoy it and felt satisfaction every time we would finish a trim job. I definitely know my way around hand tools, drills, saws, you name it and I have probably used it at some point in my trim career. I then moved to a cabinetry place because I wanted to expand my knowledge of working and try something new. I also enjoyed my work in cabinetry because a lot of the work I did in trim work carried directly over to cabinetry. I was working less hours doing cabinetry but still minimum 40 hour weeks and was doing more traveling type of work since we would have to drive to different locations throughout the state to install cabinets. My current profession is being a Starbucks Barista Shift Supervisor. Currently I am a closing shift supervisor so my goal every night is to take care of customers, make sure all closing tasks and cleaning gets done, handling large amounts of money for the deposit, and inventory management. I am also currently searching for a career path in computer science or cyber security.
