- As the lead APP for the critical care team, I was placed in charge of all administrative tasks/duties related to our rapidly growing/changing ICU APP model within the multiple UPMC locations in Central PA.
- Responsible for day to day operations of 20 Staff/PRN providers
- Advanced the clinical practice of our APP group by providing credentialing pathways for new bedside procedures
- Took responsibility for the onboarding of over 10 Advanced Practice Providers
- Assisted in the development of a Transition To Practice program to improve onboarding success, job satisfaction and provider retention
- I worked closely with our leadership on committees revolving around all ICU initiatives and work-groups including Resident Physician Relations, Fellowship evaluation, Resuscitation Review and co-chaired the Central PA Advanced Practice Education committee
