KANG LIANG

In 2023, I took over this task from Brother Yang (a former MDiv student) to help facilitate communication between The NASYAA and Andrews University students. I am very grateful to Dr. James Tsai for the opportunity he gave me.

I have been helping since its inception, initially taking on roles during worship (such as music, preaching, Sabbath School teacher, etc.), then I started handling sound equipment responsibilities, which I continue to do so to this day. This semester (Fall 2024), I started forming a youth group with other brothers and sisters.

During the AMD program, I was involved in many ministries. Since the Church had a small, mostly elderly congregation, Dr. Shepherd provided many opportunities for me to serve and learn how to operate a Church. Those ministries included visitation, all roles during worship, Sabbath School Teacher and Leader (both Children or Adults), some roles in an evangelistic meeting.

I worked as an academic advisor in the A-level classes at Shinway Education. My main responsibilities included supervising the students' studies and helping them schedule their courses. Additionally, I provided after-school tutoring for Mathematics 1 and 2. Although the company offered me a full-time position in May, I resigned considering my upcoming studies at Andrews University.
