Worked for multiple shops through this duration. Began as an apprentice where i graduated to Journeyman. Continuing my experience and education from there lead me to the specialty craft of splicing medium voltage. I was intrigued by the unforgiving attention to detail required with these installations. I've been doing MV since 2018 and i enjoy it to this day.

• Used testing instruments such as multimeters, VLF, Tan Delta, phase rotation, and fault finders.
• Work long durations in remote locations such as Blythe, Calexico, Lost Hills, Los Banos, Mojave, Adelanto...
• Ordered, Stored, and maintained power tools, materials, and equipment for each job.
• Inspected electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects, and repair requirements.
• Installed and maintained systems from 0 - 35,000 volts underground, vaults, towers, switchgear, transformers, substations...
• Interpreted drawings, wiring diagrams, flow charts and written descriptions of project requirements.
• Determine manpower needs for duration of several large scale projects.
• Maintain material needs in advance for an entire crew/scope of work.
• Investigation and resolution of current and future scope requirements or complications.

This is were my career turned towards medium voltage. My training, experience, and certifications all started during my employment here. My job description was the same as those with CSI Electric.

• Worked on both dead and energized lines.
• Responded to emergencies and outages that required additional labor and assistance for repairs.
• Observed company safety rules and regulations to minimize workplace accidents and reduce electric shocks.
• Performed maintenance and reconducting as well as new installations of commercial, industrial, and utility facilities.
• Installed 0-600 volt systems including bending conduit, PVC, pulling cables, Romex, MC, underground...
