I learned numerous skills from working as a smoothie barista, doing volunteer work, and starting my own small business. Working at Tropical Smoothie, I learned how to communicate with customers, work well with others, and how to manage a busy rush. Volunteer work left me with more mental skills as I got to preview another perspective of peoples lives and how the world works. Starting my own small business left me with an overwhelming amount of leadership and time management. I needed to set my own schedule and manage my own expenses.
I volunteered at a food bank in Ann Arbor. I was able to help prepare a serve meals for the homeless community in the city.
I was captain for my freshman soccer team and was honored with the Mustang Award (award for hardworking player who showed quality traits in games and practice) my senior year of high school playing for the varsity team.
I graduated with honors while being a student athlete.
