  • Greet patients, perform intake assessments and prep patients prior to doctor's consultation and treatment.
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits, treatments and procedures.
  • Undress and redress wounds, injuries, surgical sites and after in office procedures including suture removals.
  • Assist doctor with medical procedures including P&A's, ingrown toenails, diabetic and vascular wounds, removing foreign objects, fracture care, laser surgeries, shock wave therapy, CO2 laser treatments, verruca removal, routine and diabetic foot care.

  • Provide patients with written and oral instruction from doctor for "at home care" treatment of wounds, surgical procedures, various foot conditions (Plantar Fasciitis, ingrown toenails, fungal nail treatment, verruca, P&A soaking instruction, diabetic and gout foot care and dietary plan).
  • Experienced in dispensing various DME with oral and written instruction for use of pneumatic walker, crutches, orthotic and therapeutic shoes, surgical shoes, arch binders, bunion protectors, tuli heel cups and McDavid braces.
