• 2012-2014 Began my career at VNA seeing HHC patients in my designated area. Patient care included IV management, wound care, foley catheter care, med and disease mgmt along with many other aspects of care.
• 2014 Incorporated care and oversite of VA patients as the need in our company arose. Included 60 day recerts to assess clent needs in home; supervising and giving support to home health aides and homemakers requiring great communication skills with patients and staff.
• 2015 Transitioned to interim manager of the Paraprofessional Dept. Trained aides and homemakers; resolved scheduling issues and helped to keep morale up.
• 2016 Attained remote triage position so I could by with my mother during her last months.
• 2017 Returned to Colorado after my mother passed and became the Weekend/Evening/Nights Supervisor. Oversite of weekend staff; admissions, scheduling, aides and clinicians. Creative problem solving skills and good communications were a must.

Worked in setting with disabled adults teaching staff on specific client needs such as tube feedings, training on hoyer lift, proper body mechanics. Assisted in staff meetings, education on change in condition, when to call MD or 911, use of epi-pen etc.
