What I did as a correctional officer was make sure inmates are safe and also make sure our office where also save based on my experience there I got to learn a lot more of beating patient and be calm when it can get hectic or bad like when responding to and alarm always be prepared of anything because you never know what was going on. The alarms could be a lot of things like an inmate self harming or staff members getting battered, inmates fighting and more.while working there you really gotta learn how to communicate and talk to people because based on the way you talked to the inmates is how you are getting treated I’ve witnessed officer getting battered all because of the lack of respect and communication due to that I have grown a lot more on my communication my understanding and how to understand people along with also being a lot more confident.more of What I did there is when I worked in the whole i had to be aware of making sure i cuffed both inmates before opening the door what that has taught me is being more aware of my surroundings and always keep my head in a swivel not only where you always looking out for yourself but also other officer and inmates.

• What I would to at walmart was be a cashier I would put up returns back where they go when customer leave them behind if they didn't want them. I would also translate for my higher ups. I learn how to work better and be better with costumers always have a smile on your face even thought your having a bad always stay positive you want your costumers to come back and shop and speak very good of how you treated them you never know if someone is having a bad day or have something going on at home that's why its important to always talk to the costumers kind and with respect and stay positive.

• My experience at Mc Donalds was a good start for me on knowing how to properly speak to costumer and try to make the customer feel comfortable because we always want a return costumer to come and buy food again. I would try to get as much hours as i can even thought I new the pay wasn't going to be great but at the end of they day what matters is making suer i had something to take home. I would try to build a nice relationships with other employers because that was very important and having a healthy relationship with other employees is what would also make our work place feel safe and also our costumer feel safe and welcome all the time.
