Member of the Delivery Engineering team for the Network Virtual infrastructure (NVi) hosting the VMware Telco-cloud environment for Vodafone (VF) Germany.

Cross functional coordination to deliver HW and SW in accordance with VF Group Networks blueprint.

Responsibilities:

• Technical lead for the NFV bundle upgrade project to the latest bundle release covering all compute, network and storage aspects of the environment.
• Technical lead for Mobile Private Network (MPN)  project delivering VF's very first "network in a box"
• Technical lead for the virtual network redesign project.
• Technical member in the CaaS (Container as a service) project dedicated to transforming the NVi Network from VNF to Container network function (CNF) based. 

Lead member of the data migration and operations team for BMW private cloud as Dell EMC partner in Germany, in accordance with ITIL standards.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the migration environment infrastructure within VMware cloud, Dell network and SAN hardware.
  
• Developing Perl and bash scripts for the  in migration of more than 10PB of data.
  
• Testing and developing Golang Scripts to enhance communication across Windows and Linux copy hosts.

Member of the presales team for Enterprise customers for IT products creating brand image for Huawei as a new entrant to the Egyptian market.

Responsibilities:

• Sizing and design of end to end solution with networks team covering third party applications through global partners. including delivering PoCs 
  
• Providing training to partners, to generate new leads.
• Member of the education account team responsible for the IT transformation the Egyptian higher education system: "one campus open stack cloud solution" 
• Member of the Energy account team responsible for digitizing power plants and distribution network through introduction of Huawei PoE switches. 

Design and deploy of custom made VMware environment on DELL EMC Hyper-converged infrastructure (HCi) (Vxrail, VxRack),  to facilitate the transition to (SDDC)

Responsibilities:

• Working with the account team from the RFP phase to present the strength and potential of the SDDC for the transition to cloud native, and  sizing according to customer's resource needs.
  

• Designing migration plans from traditional environments to HCi overcoming challenging deadlocks of compatibility.

• Led the biggest  POC in Turkish market for a $2m deal to deploy the first VSAN stretched cluster. This involved beating the competitors (Nutanix, HPe, Cisco) which required sufficient knowledge of their technology.
  
• Subject Matter Expert in virtualized legacy appliances (RP4VM and vESRS).
  

Onsite service delivery across the EMEA for EMC products: VNX, VMAX, RP, VPLEX, VIPR SRM, Unity, Scale I/O, viper controller and SAN switches.

Responsibilities

• Tech-refresh, migrations and greenfield deployments, and knowledge transfer for mission critical customers in governmental organizations, Banks and Telco.
• Lead communication across IT departments and coordinating the signoff in accordance to the QA agreement.
• Resident for Zein Telco Kuwait, deploying Enterprise Hybrid Cloud (EHC)
• Resident for the United Nations in Valencia.
