- Leading the functions of financial and reporting for companies of the group including Mindshare, Mediacom, MS Plus, Wavemaker and GroupM.
- Main responsibilities and duties are:
- Drive quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting process for each business unit.
- Liaise with GMs to identify revenue gaps and formulate a strategy to close.
- Deliver recommendations on profit and cash flow management to deliver on the financial corporate targets (working capital optimization; cost base smart spending initiatives; foreign exchange risk management).
- Engage in ongoing cost reduction analysis in all areas of the company.
- Lead and manage the day-to-day activity of the Accounting department.
- Produce monthly financial package with IFRS which includes income statement, cash flow statement, balance sheet and other supporting financial analysis reports and checking and reviewing journal vouchers entries.
- Perform financial analysis and reporting to management & head office as needed.
- Coordinate with finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines.
- Monitor expenditures, analyze revenues and determine budget variances and report the same to management & head office.
- Engage in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts.
- Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.
- Monitor and record financial transactions according to company policies and regulations.
- Review and recommend changes to existing accounting procedures.
