While working at Minnieland I learned more than just changing diapers! I discovered my love for helping kids in their development, and my love for learning more. I worked hard to be a reliable employee and always be available when needed; changing commutes, environments, and work hours. This job taught me people skills, flexibility, quick thinking, and patience above everything else, all skills that I believe can be used and strengthened anywhere.
At Brooke Point High School, I became an active member of the community. Participating in groups such as, National Honor Society, Health Occupation Student Association, and the IB program. My coursework is rigorous, including only classes that are taught at a college level I.e. IB, DE, and AP. As a hobby I took an interest in the theater and art clubs and spend a lot of my time volunteering at school events. My time at BPHS has allowed me to gain leadership skills and time management to handle my classes, diligence and discipline in my programs, creative thinking in my clubs, and customer service in volunteering. Overall I believe my time in this school has helped me grow substantially, and I hope to continue to grow in my next environment.
