- Worked alongside missionaries who run the non-profit organization, Hope of the Nations.
- Learned about cross cultural ministry as I worked alongside local pastors and students doing door-to-door evangelism and discipleship.
- Taught elementary students in the local primary school.
- Shadowed a nurse in the local hospital.
- Did a village outreach and Bible study with missionary medical proffessionals.

- Triaged individuals by taking vital signs and identifying the sickest individuals needing rapid treatment.
- Identified and tested sick individuals at risk for malaria using universal precautions.
- Observed the care of low and high-risk laboring women and the stabilization of newborns following delivery.
- Took records of birthdates and times, baby weights, lengths, etc.
- Assisted hospital staff during delivery, examination and surgical procedures.
- Attended to baby after birth; clamped and cut the umbilical cords of babies following delivery.
- Observed the suturing of a perineal laceration.

- Helped create a fun and exciting summer camp experience for adults and children with special needs and accomodations.
- Shared the Gospel and had Christian fellowship with campers, missionaries, and staff attending the camp.
