Segregated Housing Unit (SHU) Team Leader providing security in the MidWest Joint Regional Facility (MWJRCF) of up to 48 maximum custody inmates. Ensures compliances and safety of shift and inmates. Direct and administer tasks or movement in and out of the facility. Test and review inventory and operations in the assigned area. Report accountability, inventory, and data to the supervisor.

• Supervised daily operations and conducted necessary investigations in the Segregated Housing Unit for 48 inmates with 4 facility staff members.
• Developed In-Progress Reviews (IPR) for training exercises that would be conducted in the Segregated Housing Unit (SHU).
• Managed and tracked reports of daily operations conducted in the SHU.
• Served as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for training in the SHU.
• Reviewed and revised policies and procedures for daily facility operations.
• Advised inmates/detainee personnel towards rehabilitative programs.

Assistant Watch Commander for the MidWest Joint Regional Correctional Facility. I was assigned as a Watch Commander which is a supervisor position and serves as the direct representative of the Commander in their absence. Responsible for communicating critical information, managing calls. Ensured manning of staff on each shift. Facilitates the intake and reception during new prisoner in-processing. Responding and supervising critical incidents or major events during shifts.

• Impacted mission success of the facility resulted in a 100 percent compliance rating for the Army Corrections Command (ACC) Technical Assistant Visit (TAV).
• Served as Assistant Watch Commander during a facility Emergency Action Plan (EAP) displaying superb technical and tactical knowledge.
• Produced technical and tactical guidance to subordinates and superiors. Improved and ensured the health and welfare of 21 team members as well as inmates/detained personnel.
• Responsible for the custody, care, control, and accountability of prisoners; conducted counts, medication calls, searches and inspections of all assigned areas,
• Conducted training to ensure Soldiers were following updated policies and procedures for missions to be met.

Served as a Compound NCO in HHC 525th Military Police Company; responsible for the safe and humane treatment of detainees' inside various Detention Camps, ensured legal detention operations and Standard Operating Procedures enforcement; additionally served as a Squad Leader and is responsible for the health, welfare, education, training, and conduct for a 10 member squad.

• Committed to mission accomplishment, welfare of Soldiers, and fully supported EO, EEO and SHARP programs.
• Established a workplace and overall command climate that fostered dignity and respect for all personal assigned to his platoon.
• Instructed Preliminary Marksmanship Instruction on M4& M9; resulted in 100% company qualification on all assigned weapons.
• Entrusted to oversee 150 internal movements with minimal supervision; demonstrated ability to use sound judgement.

Served as a Team Leader in the HHC 705th Military Police Company of a 3 Soldier team. I assisted the supervisor in enforcing discipline and guidance. Responsible for the health, welfare, and safety of my team. Ensure my team meets or is above the standard in individual and team training, physical fitness, accountability, and professional appearance. Assisted in training of police, detention. and investigation operations.

• Supervised and performed investigations on over 390 inmates/detained personnel.
• Mentored team by having them complete necessary courses for promotion and helped those who wanted to go to college enroll in general study courses.
• Ensured mySoldiers were physically fit and prepared for any physical requirements which increased their scores.
• Developed mental trust and respect within my team and the section.
