Palms West Charter School Teacher of the Year
Every year, faculty and administration vote on a faculty member for the New American Hero award. The nominees are selected based on outstanding leadership, instruction and collaboration in addition to performance in other school related activities. I was the Middle School Team Lead and was responsible for scheduling weekly meetings to discuss upcoming middle school activities and projects. I was also the administrator for our Course Recovery program and was responsible for monitoring students who required enrollment in courses for math, literature, science and social studies to recover credits for classes they did not pass.
