• Charge Nurse, Nurse Preceptor, and Nurse Mentor
• 20 bed Medical Intensive Care Unit
• Care of critically ill patients with acute respiratory failure, pneumonia, sepsis, heart failure, stroke, epilepsy, acute/chronic kidney failure, upper/lower gastrointestinal bleeding, liver failure, multi-system organ failure, diabetic ketoacidosis, hypovolemic/cardiogenic shock, and cancer-related complications.
• Assists in bedside procedures including intubation, bronchoscopy, chest tube placement, tracheostomy placements, Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), thoracentesis, paracentesis, lumbar punctures, intraosseous line placement, central/arterial line placements.
• Management of high acuity patients requiring invasive monitoring, post procedural monitoring, and multiple medication drips including sedation , analgesics, neuromuscular blockade agents, vasoactive medications, antiarrhythmic, and antihypertensive medications.
• Proficient in managing and troubleshooting devices such as NxStage continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), Level 1 Rapid Infuser, Flotrac/Vigileo devices, peripheral nerve stimulators, bispectral index (BIS) monitoring devices, Cortrak enteral access systems.

• 36-bed progressive care unit
• Care of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, pneumonia, sepsis, heart failure, epilepsy, acute kidney injury, electrolyte imbalances, fluid overload, upper or lower gastrointestinal bleeding, liver failure, and diabetic ketoacidosis.

Full Time: 40 hours/week

• Responsible for up to 12 or more long term or rehabilitation residents.
• Proficient in assisting with activities of daily living, transfers, personal hygiene, daily enrichment activities, along with taking and documenting vital signs and drain output.
