I started in the department known as AFE and would mostly pack shipments with 2 or moree items into boxes or envelopes while applying all the appropriate labels and material to ensure protection of the items during shipping and processing. I gained many other warehouse skills with being cross-trained through departments over time. While at the dock area: moving pallets of product to designated areas with pallet jacks, managing returns, ensuring flow of packages through warehouse, loading trucks and organizing orders onto pallets.

I also became trained in departments known as stow, pick and singles. Singles was packing shipments with only one item per box or package. Pick and stow involved working with the robotics side and pick was taking correct items out and launching them for process through the warehouse while stow was putting items in directly being taken off trucks from vendors, all while ensuring no damages, missing items etc.

• Inspected merchandise for wear or defects, disposing of damaged items as instructed by supervisors.
• Mastered complete production flow to allow effective service anywhere, troubleshot flow or machinery issues and strictly adhered to safety, quality and production standards.
• Packed products into designated boxes, taking care to protect items from damage or shifting during transport.
• Delivered products, as member of picking team, to next stage of process quickly and accurately and kept customer products flowing and warehouse humming.
• Restocked shelves with new merchandise as it arrived from vendors.
