I began my career in healthcare as a CNA while attending nursing school. As a CNA I worked in every department int he facility and quickly fell in love with the ER, which is where I have spent my career so far as a RN. My first job as a RN was at a critical access facility which helped me to quickly learn efficient prioritization and the necessity for teamwork across all disciplines. I left my full time position to broaden my clinical experience, care for and connect with different patient populations, learn new skills and treatments, and to make new friends through teamwork.
