I am a responsible and ambitious student with excellent time management who possesses proven communication skills and a strong work ethic. I am attending the University of Southern Mississippi in to pursue a degree in business and marketing.
As a member service representative here at the Y, it is my job to be a friendly face to our members and everyone else who comes through our doors. Some of my main duties include greeting everyone, answering the phones, making sure all questions are answered, taking payments in house and over the phone, giving tours of the facility, and finally making sure everyone is happy and taken care of.
During my time as a teacher here, I used early childhood curriculum to teach early learning skills, purposefully plan to adjust teaching practices to meet student’s needs, and build relationships that promote a safe and positive environment in which students are responsible, self- motivated, and self- evaluating.
While working at Town and Country Cleaners I was one of the first people that greeted them. I would take complete customer’s orders, process any payments (cash or card), make sure all questions were answered regarding pricing or the process of how we operate, and lastly, I helped with answering any phone calls.
