While my current title is data specialist, this does not describe my career. I have worked in seed production for corn and soybean since graduating high school. I have worked at 4 different plants starting from the ground up in field inspecting, working on machinery, running detasseling machines, working in the seed lab, up to managing thousands of acres of soybean or corn production and the employees needed to do this work. I have spent a lot of my career working on SAP and specialize in process orders of all types. I have managed shipping, packaging and field production. I currently spend half of the year focused on the following field tasks - seedstock, field inspection, field data, quality review, bulk batch planning, dry shell order creation, harvest moisture sampling, bulk corn receipt & new crop order creation. The rest of the year I work in packaging with new crop order management, refuge management and inventory management. I am very detail oriented and over the years have learned a lot about our inbreds/hybrids that we grow, and how they act in the field. I am a dedicated employee and a staple here at Remington.
