In my current role, I act as a key interface between California legal practitioners and the Our Family Wizard platform, enhancing the implementation of technology in family law cases. Some of my responsibilities include:

• Analyzing user and sales data to develop targeted sales strategies, effectively managing my territory, and improving relationships with key, high-profile prospects.
• Designing and delivering educational materials and presentations to judicial officers and other family law professionals, bridging the gap between technology and legal practice, while fostering adoption and advocacy of the OFW software.
• Researching and identifying potential partnerships with groups that connect parents to services and resources that inform and empower them during their divorce and custody litigation.

While working for Our Family Wizard, I continued practicing as a part-time associate family law attorney. My primary role was to manage cases that were settlement-focused, so the managing attorney could focus on cases that were being actively litigated. I conducted settlement negotiations, drafted marital settlement agreements, reviewed judgments, and represented clients at settlement conferences. I also provided other miscellaneous support to the managing attorney, including special appearances and drafting motions on an as-needed basis.

In this role, I fine-tuned my family law practice while quickly advancing to manage one of the largest caseloads in the firm, comprised of over 50% direct referrals. I independently managed my caseload from start to finish. Highlights of my time included:

• Representing clients in over 100 law and motion hearings and 5 trials on issues such as business valuations, asset division, custody, child support, spousal support, attorney's fees requests, sanctions, breach of fiduciary duty claims, DVROs, procedural motions, discovery motions, post-judgment modifications, grandparents' rights, third parent rights, guardianships, and prenuptial agreements.
• Pitching a new vacation policy and collaborating with HR to develop an unlimited PTO program that saved the firm money and improved work-life balance for my colleagues.
• Developing a new consultation procedure and partnering with support staff to design and implement a streamlined workflow, saving time, and enhancing the quality of prospective client interactions..

I started in this role with no experience in family law. Within my first 90 days I was handling all client consultations for the firm, retaining my own clients, managing cases from filing to judgment, attending hearings, conducting trials, and managing a team of four while the principal attorney went on maternity leave then transitioned to working from home part-time.

In this role I partnered with the sales team as a subject matter expert to provide support in cases involving settlements over $250k, account management, and business development

I was promoted to manage this team after a large corporate merger. I restructured the team and workflows to promote internal efficiency, increase revenue, and build our industry reputation for returning favorable appeals. Highlights of my time in this position include:

• Creating new internal practices in response to changes to CMS's regulations, reference guides, and vendor contracts.
• Developing new appeals strategies for clients navigating the CMS MSA review program, resulting in client savings of over $1.6 million in 2017.
• Representing MEDVAL as an in-house attorney at client training sessions, industry professional group events, client stewardship meetings, and government town hall meetings.

I started at MEDVAL as a legal analyst, providing attorneys, insurers, and third-party administrators with Medicare Secondary Payer ("MSP") compliance services. My primary duties included analyzing, preparing, and executing Medicare Set-Aside agreements. I was responsible for ensuring that clients followed state and federal statutes and guidelines when settling workers' compensation and personal injury cases affected by the MSP Act.
