Summary

I am an enthusiastic and dedicated elementary school teacher with twenty years' experience creating an engaging, fun, rigorous classroom environment that fosters a love of learning. I am eager to collaborate with colleagues, parents and administrators and look at student data in order to ensure that diverse student needs are addressed. My goal is to ensure that my students become competent, engaged readers and writers who are able to read and think critically. My experience working with a wide range of reading ability levels, Master's degree and National Board certification specializing in literacy, as well as my own love of reading, will make me an asset as a summer reading camp teacher.
