Summary

Kathie is an energetic, fearless, compassionate team player. After stepping away from a profession in Insurance Underwriting to raise a family, she embarked on an unsuspecting journey after her husband of 35 years passed away. Kathie and her two children created the The Heimerdinger Foundation, Inc. non-profit in memory of Mike Heimerdinger who had been treated for a rare form of cancer. They hoped to make a positive impact to help all Cancer patients, their caregivers and teens learn about healthier lifestyles and nutrition to ultimately decrease the incidence of cancer and treatment side effects. Kathie provided the leadership and fortitude to create and run The Meals for Health Healing program now in its' eleventh year.
