National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Technical Points of Contact (TPOC)

• Serve as the technical point of contact, provide feedback and support tank farm projects on NEPA coverage
• Update and issue annual and activity specific NEPA forms flowing down coverage from the Tank Closure and Waste Management Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) in support of Direct Feed Low Activity Waste Program, 200 West Risk Management Project, Interim Surface Barrier and Evapotranspiration Basins, and new and modified infrastructure projects
• Revise NEPA, SEPA, Ecological and Cultural procedures and update Environmental webpages
• Drafted WRPS NEPA and Ecological qualification card and mentored junior staff on NEPA qualification card knowledge sections

Ecological and Cultural Technical Point of Contact

• Respond to field support requests for nesting birds, biological deterrents, Migratory Bird Treaty Act (MBTA) survey

Hanford Cultural Resource Management Program

• Performed Section 106 reviews under the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA)

Homeland Security Radiation Portal Monitor Program

• Completed data collection to evaluate statistical reliability and efficacy of radiation portal monitors in Long Beach, CA, Laredo, TX, Staten Island, NY
• Generated and submitted Test Observation Reports for analysis of potential weaknesses and development of system enhancements
• Communicated directly with the primary client, U.S Customs and Border Protection, to complete assigned activities while on site at various ports of entry.
