Kathryn Julian

I am upbeat and devoted to promoting student learning and enhancing individual potential. I consider my background and diverse teaching experiences give me a unique outlook on the art of teaching. I am skillful in directing classroom environments and enhancing student behavior through positive and forward-thinking approaches. I am passionate about building a caring, nurturing environment for my students. I am high-energy in many interventions, curriculum, and best practice and look forward in bringing my knowledge and abilities to a new position. I am skilled in activity coordination, student assessment and record keeping as well as persistent in uncovering and meeting individual student needs. I have accomplished many years of successful classroom management, student evaluations, test preparation, standard based instruction, leadership positions, and relationships with both the communities and districts in which I have had the privilege to serve. I have a proven history of improving student learning outcomes by adapting lesson plans to student needs. I am am dedicated to promoting academic performance and fostering social skills and character development all while focusing on the most important piece of it all, passing on my love of education to all those I have had the chance to teach.
