As a licensed Veterinary Technician I have worked in both Private Practice and also in Research vector of veterinary medicine. In these positions it has allowed me to grow in different ways and enhanced my skills as a veterinary technician. Given that both of these positions had their differences the one constant for me was being an advocate for the animals and their well-being. I learned so much in research about protocols, stringent record keeping, proper communication verbally and through written correspondence. I learned how to use my vet tech skills to work on different species of animals that are rarely if ever seen in private practice.
I would be a great asset to any company who is looking for someone who knows how to pay attention to detail, is a good communicator, and has over 30 years of experience dealing with clients, PIs, Doctors ( both the human and veterinary). I have worked a lot with Microsoft, and other computer programs. I am a hard worker, a team player, and one that is always willing to learn something new.
