While working for Millennium Medical Services I was assigned 3 nursing homes that I provided mental health services to. When I started the job I had only 3 homes and approximately 50 clients. I worked very hard to gain more homes and provide services to more clients that struggled with mental health issues. I had exceeded my goals and by the time my work ended I was servicing 5 homes and seeing approximately 90 clients. My work was going well and I was enjoying providing services. In March COVID 19 became an issue and my nursing homes stopped allowing outside services into the homes. I took the job in my local school system as the Administrative Secretary for the 5th and 6th grade center. I had to have employment and felt like I could explore some opportunities within the school system however, I missed being able to exercise my Social Work skills so I was very excited when I was approached by New Hope where I have been able to utilize my LCSW to full capacity.
