Short explanation..I was the only field litigation manager in the Tampa. My job was to attend mediations and arbitrations with our defense counsel, both staff and outside counsel. I was the company representation tasked with bringing the settlement funds to mediation. I took control of the negotiations in an effort to bring injury and property claims to resolution throughout the state of Florida. I also operated and maintained a company vehicle. When I was not in mediation or arbitration, I handle my own book of litigation files requiring investigation and management. I also attended courtroom trials working with defense counsel to bring cases to an optimal resolution. I did this job for over 12 years of my 26 years at USAA. In short, I have excellent communication and people skills.
