- The American Red Cross utilizes PACS policies and procedures designed in conformance with the guidelines and standards of the AABB, The Joint Commission, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and applicable state requirements.
- Perioperative autologous cell salvage (PACS) technicians set up, operate, and break down the Haemonetics Cell Saver machine.
