In a Hospital setting I assist with procedures for the Gastrointestinal department. Some of my tasks include:

• Cleaning/reprocessing different types of scopes so they can be used for following procedures.
• Efficiently set-up and tear down procedure rooms in preparation for upcoming procedures.
• Handled inventory and preparation for upcoming procedures by ordering supplies and ensuring rooms were stocked and set-up for patients.
• Taking vital signs and blood sugars as needed to assist in pre-oping the patients for procedures.
• Assisting nurses with discharging patients by getting them dressed and taking them down to their rides or back to the hospital floor.

In a hospital setting I provided care to patients as a float pool nursing assistant. I worked on every floor of the hospital as needed including ortho, cardiac, med surg, ICU and the ER. Some of my tasks included:

• Assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, oral care, assisting with meals, toileting and ambulation.
• Monitoring vital signs and blood sugars.
• Reporting and documenting in change of condition or behavior.
• Assisting Respiratory therapists, occupational/physical therapists, wound care team and all of the other care providers on the floor.
• Training and orienting new certified nursing assistants.

Under the supervision of a nurse, I provided care to residents in a long term/rehab facility. Some of my tasks included:

• Assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, oral care, assisting with meals, toileting, and ambulation.
• Monitoring vital signs.
• Reporting and documenting change in condition or behavior.

I assisted clients in their homes with cooking, cleaning, shopping, rides to doctors appointments and activities of daily living. Some of the ADL's preformed included bathing, oral care, assisting with meals, toileting, and ambulation.

Under the supervision of a nurse, I provided care to residents in a skilled nursing/hospital setting. Some of my tasks included:

• Assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, oral care, assisting with meals, toileting and ambulation.
• Monitoring vital signs.
• Reporting and documenting change in condition or behavior.
