• Manage company health and welfare benefits programs including retirement investment accounts for 6,000+ employees across 60+ locations/FEINs in 16+ states and 12+ different benefit guides.
• Execute wellness program for organization
• Ensure FMLA and LOA programs are administered in compliance with regulations
• Liaison between associates and benefit vendors to provide Sage associates with excellent customer service
• Manage all stages of the enrollment process: New Hire, Open Enrollment, and Life Events as well as Transition Ins/Outs of hotel properties
• Develop and maintain all benefits communications
• Coordinate with Payroll to ensure accurate benefits deductions
• Administer COBRA and ensure compliance regulations are satisfied
• Update and maintain data in the HRIS and insurance vendor EDI files/databases to ensure accurate and timely data transmittal
• Coordinate annual open enrollment including participating in renewal meetings with broker, develop and delivery of communication materials, and partner with UKG for online enrollment process
• Audit and reconcile invoices; work closely with accounting team to ensure all benefit billing is completed and carriers are paid timely
• Conduct and participate in benefits surveys to benchmark against external best practices
• Coordinate health/401k audits in conjunction with 5500 filings as well as Non-Discrimination Testing
• Provide benefits orientations for new People & Culture team members
• Ensures compliance with ACA, HIPAA, ERISA, and other government regulations including processing all 1095Cs
