While I was in high school I loved to work outside of school because it kept me busy. I like to stay busy and I like to have a can-do attitude.
Results-oriented achiever with proven ability to exceed targets and drive success in fast-paced environments.
Organized and dependable candidate successful at managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude. Willingness to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals.
During my first year at Bowling Green State University I had the privilege of serving as the Match Secretary for BGSU's Women's Rugby team. This job was extremely important to me because it allowed me to contact other teams from Ohio and Michigan to form our seasons schedule. This role involves more than just scheduling matches—it's about creating an environment where the team can thrive.
Here are a few reasons why being a match secretary is important to me.
1. Organization: You ensure that all fixtures are scheduled, venues are booked, and transportation is arranged. Your meticulous planning ensures that the team can focus solely on their performance without worrying about logistics.
2. Communication: You act as the liaison between the team, opposing teams, and officials. Effective communication ensures that everyone is on the same page and that matches run smoothly.
3. Team Support: Your role is pivotal in boosting team morale. By handling the details, you allow the players and coaches to concentrate on strategy and training, which ultimately enhances team performance.
4. Problem Solver: Challenges are inevitable, but as the match secretary, your quick thinking and problem-solving skills keep the show running, whether it's dealing with last-minute cancellations or unexpected changes.
