When I first learned about Miami Animal Rescue, I realized I had to seize this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I've learned a lot of important lessons from this project, including accountability and time management. Since I don't have a long record of having pets, it was undoubtedly something new for my family and I. On April 7th, 2022, I started caring for a wonderful beagle named Ryder. As an outcome of my community service, I gained practical experience in foster care, which taught me important life lessons like responsibility, trust, compassion, respect, and patience. The experience of working with Miami Animal Rescue was wonderful once more. If it weren't for this wonderful program, I wouldn't have had the opportunity to pursue this. I've developed stronger time management skills and a greater ability for patience. I now have a greater appreciation for companion animals, and I welcome the chance to work with them again.
