I am a registered nurse with over ten years of combined nursing experience, including five years as a Licensed Practical Nurse. As an LPN, I worked for an ENT clinic where I worked primarily with pediatric patients. After completing the LPN to RN program in 2020, I have worked as a Registered Nurse in the Labor and Delivery unit. I have also been cross trained to work in the OB/postpartum department along with the Pediatric unit when needed. In addition, I currently work part-time providing port access and care for oncology patients. Through each of these roles, I have developed strong assessment skills, can maintain a compassionate and calm approach, and have a deep appreciation for family-centered care.
I’m especially drawn to school nursing because it combines my love for pediatrics and community health. As both a nurse and mother, I value the important role school nurses play in supporting children’s health, ability to learn, and safety.
PRN position at the Diagnostic Center for Implanted Ports:
I received the Nurse Excellence Award in 2025 for being recognized for outstanding patient care and clinical performance. I also serve as the primary preceptor for all new L&D nurses, providing orientation, clinical training, and ongoing support.
