Kayla Massey

I'm a very passionate teacher that takes pride in my students excellence. I feel that as a whole we should be succeeding. I strive to get every student to that level of success.

I've had a love for teaching from a very young age.

I've taught 2nd and 3rd grade math, science, and social studies. I feel the most confident teaching math and have a true passion for that subject!

I love to push myself and my students. However, at the end of the day I want my children to feel confident in their knowledge. I am a very hands on teacher. I know how to run well organized centers while working with students who need one on one help.

I pride myself of making others around me feel good. This includes, my classroom students as well as my coworkers. I feel that a school environment should feel much like a home. I try to make my classroom feel welcoming so that my students come in excited to learn.

Through my years of teaching I've gained patience. Becoming a mother to 3 beautiful children has strengthened that patience. It's also, provided me with a better understanding of how I want my students to feel safe and comfortable. I took two years off from school to stay home with our twin boys. I'm looking forward to finding the right school and jumping back into all the crazy fun!
