• Work directly with schools to ensure that supplies for student health are readily available to school staff.
• Provided CPR training to staff across three school districts and funded this through a grant, so no cost was incurred to the school.
• Provided Stop the Bleed training to school staff and agriculture students across two school districts.
• Started a free clinic in an underserved school district two days per month to provide immunizations, vital sign assessments, hand out lice treatment kits, and conduct car seat inspections.
• Worked with other staff to start up a car seat inspection station to provide inspections and free car seats to the community.

• Member of the education department and assisting with yearly skills evaluations for RNs, LPNs, and patient care technicians.
• Unit Diabetes Super Trainer. Responsible for staying up to date on the most recent education, policies, and procedures, and then providing all updates to unit staff.

• Medication administration of students for routine and PRN medications.
• Maintains medical files on all students.

• Conducts yearly vision and hearing screenings.
• Provided direct health care services to students involving triage, evaluation, and first aid care for illness and injury.
• Contacted parents or medical facilities when student condition warranted.
• Coordinated with families, school personnel and healthcare professionals on behalf of students to advocate for healthcare needs and provide medical information to appropriate parties.
• Monitored infection control procedures to verify facility-wide health and safety.

Marketing and education to territories within Evansville and outlying areas for Inpatient Acute Rehab to hospitals, physicains, patients, families and public.  Completed Clinical assessment for admission criteria to Inpatient Rehab.  Verification of insurance eligibility and obtaining precertification.  Assessment of CMS-13 criteria.  Obtained CRRN.
