What this involves is, helping customers with not just their beauty needs, but also in a way, their health needs as well. Which type of lotion would help their targeted areas that need help. Which type of skin care for whatever their skincare needs are. We also offer a "Feel more like you" program. Which means we interact with cancer patients going through treatments, who want to come in and feel great about themselves again, along with either their care takers, or loved ones as well.

• This was my first job I had, after completing Rounds of chemotherapy and radiation. I worked the front counter as well as in the child care section of the gym. My duties were to check customers in and out. Answer phone calls and answer any questions from customers.

• This was my very first job right out of high school. I became a professional dog groomer. My duties with this job were to take good care of the animals that came to get groomed. I was in charge of meeting every “pet parent’s” expectations for their pups grooming needs. I would brush, bathe, blow dry and cut the dogs hair. I would cut and grind the dogs nails as well. I was in charge of my own schedule, as well as answering the phones and expressing excellent customer service! I worked with this company for about 3 years, right out of high school, up until I took maternity leave, then started my chemotherapy, sick leave.

Completion of 7 week phlebotomy course, passing grade on final exam along with a 40 hour, hands-on externship held at LabCorp Germantown location.
