  • My role in being a Paralegal intern included; Assisting lawyers in gathering extensive research for their cases, along with drafting and preparing legal documents for trials. Another main take required in my position is scheduling, conducting and logging relevant facts during interviews of clients, witnesses, or the opposing parties. Along with communicating all involved parties within the case by relaying updates, messages, explaining legal translation for clients, or any other related requests about a case. While staying organized of my assigned files and system backing on all important documentations.

  • During my position in being a transaction coordinator, I assisted real estate agents in admin tasks when a client is under contract during a transaction. I communicated with title, the seller or buyers agent, the client, and sometimes the broker during the period. Once an agent sends over an email that an offer has been excepted, then I start logging all client information into the realtors back agent system. Once created from there, I am given notice on what specific documents I need to prepare that will be required from title to the agent to have their client sign before closing date. Whether it's a buy or sell purchase, a few of those common forms I send are disclosure notices, inspection lists, non realty items, or third party financing etc. Sometimes before a transaction starts, I would get request to write contracts attached with a buyers representation agreements for an agent.
