I was born and raised in Lancashire, a place I’m proud to call home. Growing up in this community has shaped my values and inspired my desire to give back by serving as a police officer. From a young age, I’ve always been polite, respectful, and committed to doing the right thing—qualities that I believe are essential in the police force.
Throughout school and now at college, I have consistently shown that I am an excellent worker. I approach every task with focus, determination, and a strong work ethic. My tutors have praised me for my dedication, and I take pride in completing my assignments to the best of my ability. I carry myself with great confidence, which has grown over time through classroom activities, public speaking, and group work.
In my personal life, I enjoy spending time outdoors. Walking is one of my favourite hobbies—it helps me stay active and clear my mind. I also value time with friends and believe in maintaining healthy relationships, which has taught me the importance of communication and emotional awareness. These qualities are just as important in everyday life as they are in policing.
I’m also proud to say that I have strong time management skills. Balancing my studies, social life, and hobbies has taught me how to prioritise tasks and stay organised. In addition, I’m an excellent cook—something I enjoy doing to relax and care for myself and others. Cooking requires patience, precision, and planning, all of which are skills that translate well into many areas of life.
For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to become a police officer. The idea of helping people, making communities safer, and being part of a respected profession has always appealed to me. Now, as a student of Uniformed Public Services at Burnley College, I’m one step closer to turning that dream into reality.

Eclectic interests in life have lead to many different educational and work experience paths in my past. As a professional, starting a work journey at the age of 15, with the only break in between jobs spent raising my beautiful children until they were old enough to be in school. As a single parent, I have been working hard to maintain a positive, healthy minded environment for my children. By looking for and maintaining long-lasting jobs, I feel as though I am setting my children up for success in staying steady throughout their life.
As a background, I have over 15+ years in retail and food experience, as well as a full education in multiple degrees ranging from biological studies, Nursing and medical education, all the way to in depth studies and reports in Marine Biology and Zoology while studying overseas at University of Guam.
All of these different opportunities have given me a broader spectrum of experiences and abilities that I am able to bring to the table for multiple job departments, making me a candidate for multiple level positions in many different work environments. As a student, employee, and parent/caretaker, I put forth my 100% effort into making sure that the company I am employed for sees benefits, profits and even improvements into daily or corporate processes.

With regards to my previous work experience, I have been a part time model for 4 years. I have been a waitress, and this has helped me to improve my teamwork capability, and to master the art of communication, customer satisfaction, problem-solving and multitasking. Alongside the above, I have done promotional work, since 2018. I have participated in multiple advertisements as well as television series and movies. I have experience in Au Pair work as I have worked as a part time au pair from 2020-2024. The experience was remarkable, working with all ages from four months up to 18 years. While the time of working as an au pair I received wonderful feedback on my social skills as well as creativity, interpersonal skills, critical thinking, problem solving, communication, active listening and adaptability skills!
As of most recent and currently, I work as a Au Pair for the Loubser family while progressing with my first year as a Criminology student (part time) at UNISA, in Pretoria. I am currently and have been working for Alet Mattheus as the General Manager of her private Educational Psychology practise in Moreletapark on week mornings for the past 4 years.

A motivated and enthusiastic individual seeking an entry-level bartender position where I can leverage my strong communication, customer service, and multitasking skills. I was hired as a helper trainee into Shop 38, Marine Machinery Mechanics, at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in 2019. The majority of my career working in shop 38 has been working on the Sail Team; I now have extensive experience working on a variety of Sail components and am rotated to projects on an as needed basis. I had recently taken on the additional role of the Sail Team Process Improvement representative, working on updating existing standard work documents and creating new standard work documents for Sail Team work. I also work closely with the Sail Team CTD (Continuous Training and Development) Program to help standardize current work processes and best practices. My current role as a Process Improvement representative mainly involves managing all the standard work documents available to the sail team. I continually review these work documents for needed updates, technical compliance, and ensure the waterfront teams find them useful and informative. I am often consulted by crews when they are preparing for sail team work and when performing/documenting first time work. Prior to working at PSNS I worked customer service in various roles. I have always enjoyed helping others and am continuously focused on my own personal and professional development. I enjoy working in process improvement because I get the opportunity to help develop new mechanics and develop standard work documents that will help mechanics in the future. I feel that my experience at the shipyard as well as my prior experience in customer service will translate well in this industry.
