I have Dental Assisting experience 5+ years clinical hands on experience and graduated from Meridean College for dental assisting. Skills I have acquired are as follows: Checking patients in and out, collecting payments and scheduling follow up visits. Assisting the Dentist chair side in providing treatment for patient, patient management during procedures, instrument transfer, preparation and maintenance of dental instruments, supplies and equipment. Proficient with dentrix and QSI computer software. Preparation of dental materials, such as cement, composites and impression material. Collecting and recording patient health histories, dental charting. Proficient in making temporary crowns and bridges. Knowledge and chair side experience working with orthodontics, endodontics, implant surgery and cosmetic dentistry. I have 6 years in customer service experience that gives me great bed side manner with patients. I have extensive knowledge of occlusion, dental anatomy, line angles, bites, shades, porcelain build-up, working models and all other EFDA duties. Extra knowledge working with iTero scanner, Invisalign, Gentle wave Endodontic machine and taking CT scans and panoramic images. I do love oral surgery that is my favorite.
