I am a first-year Marine Biology (MARB) student at Texas A&M University at Galveston with the goal of pursuing a career in veterinary medicine. I have a strong passion for animal health, welfare, and conservation, and I am eager to expand my knowledge through hands-on experiences. Work History
Volunteer/Intern
1 Month- Assisted with daily animal care and rehabilitation, maintaining high standards of animal welfare. Worked directly with rescued sea turtles along the North Padre Coast, as well as reptiles, raptors, and mammals. Responsibilities included weighing, medicating, feeding, monitoring, tagging, habitat cleaning, and participating in wildlife rescue outings.
- Supported educational outreach programs by preparing materials, engaging with visitors, and giving center tours.
