Patient assessment and monitoring: Expertise in assessing pediatric patients, detecting subtle changes in condition, and using diagnostic tools to monitor organ function and overall health. Medication management expertise: Mastery in administering immunosuppressive therapies, pain management, and other medications, while monitoring for adverse effects.
Multidisciplinary collaboration: Effective collaboration with transplant surgeons, nephrologists, hepatologists, social workers, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Family-centered care: Skilled in educating and supporting families, helping them understand complex medical information, and providing emotional support through the transplant process.
Cultural competence: Understanding and respecting the diverse cultural, religious, and ethical backgrounds of patients and their families in care delivery.
Crisis management and emergency response: Ability to act swiftly and efficiently in critical situations, such as organ rejection, infections, or transplant-related emergencies.

Leadership: Serves on the Nursing Engagement Committee and is a preceptor for nursing students.
