I first started dancing hula when i was 4 years old, a year after i joined me and my halau went to New Zealand for a hula festival. When i was dancing, my kumu selected me to be his soloist for the E Malama Mau I Ka Hula Festival. That year i won first place as his soloist and i was the first person in our halau to ever win first place as well. Every year we would enter the Keiki Hula Competition. Years after we danced for the Ho'ike at the Merrie Monarch Hula Festival. We would do performances and dance for events, we would have funraisers for our competitions selling hamburger steak plates. Iv danced for hotels with events that they hold and little or big things like that.
