- I work and help my stepdad with a Veteran Non-Profit reunion every year in august for the past 8 years. There are reunions held and all the companies that have fought with 1-41 or been to Iraq. There are raffles and auctions for cool items that are made or customized. Recently, we also have had a $10,000 scholarship for any kids that are related to a veteran. You must complete an essay and then they will be read over to see who the four winners are that are chosen by the leaderboard. Another thing we have started to do is having a service dog that helps veterans that have PTSD or any problems to help them get better. The trainer comes on a check up every so often to see how the person and the dog are doing.
