New Field Employee Onboarding for Sales, Service and Marketing (SSM)

• Submit IT onboarding requests for laptop, cell phone, printer, GMID and email address creation and activation for all Field new hires. Approx. 100 employees annually.

• Onboarding is very time sensitive in order to have new employees ready with the equipment and systems they need to perform their job on day 1.

• Track all onboarding tickets to ensure they are processed and completed in a timely fashion. Approx. 75 - 80 tickets monthly.

• Examples of the employee groups that I onboard include the DMITs, DDMs, District Sales & Service Managers, Field Warranty Specialists, Field Fleet Business Development Managers.

Manage the Employee Profile Database (EPD) and the corresponding 700+ ‘USSSM’ distribution lists.

• Manage, with the assistance of approx. 58 authors, 4,500+ employee profiles currently in the database.

• Database contains employee business information for all US-SSM, supporting organizations, and CCA

• Train new authors and assist with day-to-day review and updating of profiles to ensure that the employees are associated with the appropriate distribution lists to receive communications, meeting notices and other documentation to perform their duties.

• Currently a work in progress is creating new departments, reviewing/updating current WHQ Departments to ensure the SSM organization is accurate in the database.

• Currently a work in progress is reviewing/updating the 600+ USSSM distribution lists.

• Accuracy in the EPD is critical because the data contained in the database is shared with downstream users who rely on this information to ensure their reports and rankings are correct, that the correct employees have access to their systems, (list other purposes the database is used based on info in the DSTs)

Manage sending critical Field communications to Regional and Division Field employees.

• I handled between 1 – 5 communications monthly.

Initiate and Complete new Field Realignment activities.

• Work with CVI, GMDID and other GM internal teams to ensure the new Field structure and Employee information is uploaded and the results are verified that all pertinent information was captured to meet the Field Realignment timeline.

• Working with IT in the beginning stages of implementing new enhancements in the current Field Re-Alignment Tool which requires my participation in User Acceptance Testing.
