I am a determined, hardworking, and reliable college student pursuing a degree in architecture. I have years of experience providing customer satisfaction and the requirements necessary for a work environment to function smoothly. My pursuit of an architecture degree has taught me numerous principals that I believe are essential to being a good employee. For example, my ability to manage emotions and remain disciplined despite adversity. I am at a pivotal point in my life where I have a greater appreciation for the necessities of hard work in pursuit of success. This appreciation leaves me eager to apply my enthusiasm to the workplace and deliver my passion to my next venture.
I was born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta, a condition that causes my bones to break easily. Because of this, I primarily used a wheelchair to get around for the majority of my life, however I have made significant progress in my recovery to where I now navigate my day with crutches and can walk short distances without them confidently. While some may see this as a disadvantage, I recognize my situation as a blessing as it enabled me early in life to approach obstacles with the desire to overcome them. I have always found a way to be impactful in any work environment despite being in a wheelchair and my growth physically and mentally has only strengthened my ability to do so today.
