As office manager I am in charge of all aspects and duties of the office. I am responsible for the Administrative Assistant. Experience in Sage Accounting Software. Worked alongside the owner processing and renewing insurance policies each year. Processed all service and installation project billing. Entered and paid all Accounts Payable vendor invoices. Processed semi-monthly and bi-weekly payroll, all payroll taxes, and printed W-2s and 1099s yearly. Collected and maintained employee folders and processed new hire and termination paperwork. Maintained and renewed employee Fire Marshal Licenses yearly with the Louisiana Fire Marshal Office. Scheduled employee training classes and arrangement travel arrangement. Oversaw monthly balance sheets and income statements monitoring monthly revenue and expenses. Maintained open job spreadsheet monitoring each jobs contribution to the monthly overhead of the company and job costing. Reconciled all bank statements and made account transfers while overseeing balances in accounts. Made accounting journal entries. Processed company credit card and employee expense reconciliations. Reconciled and paid monthly Sales Tax Returns. Assisted CPA with year-end documentation yearly for the company tax returns. Performed basic office duties that consist of answering phones, copying, facing, filing, operating 10-key adding machine. Type 50+ words a minute. Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. After 6 years with the company became one of four Partners of the company. In August of 2025, Sound & Communication Systems, Inc. was purchased by Pye Barker Fire & Safety and I now continue my role as Office Manager.
