- 5th Grade Team Lead for 3 years in which I created agendas, attended leadership meetings, created schedules, etc.
- Created and implemented classroom management strategies.
- Created and implemented targeted intervention plans for students with various behavioral/academic patterns.
- Generated, planned and executed lesson plans for a diverse student community.
- Produced slides for daily instructional use, implemented the use of data collection sheets and reviewed data in order to guide instruction.
- Collaborated with intervention teams (and others) to support students in academic and behavioral goals.
- Helped to build a positive school culture through conducting various school tournaments and extracurricular clubs such as Chess Club and Drama Club.
- Aimed to establish cohesive vertical alignment throughout K-5 grade levels for math, writing and science via committee work while serving as committee lead.
- Was honored to be chosen to help create and implement the rollout of a new Social Studies curriculum (Since Time Immemorial). I am currently our school's Social Studies lead.
- Piloted the new Eureka Squared math curriculum.
- Part of the district's Equity team for over 4 years.
- Took part in various professional development opportunities throughout my time in district which include math instruction, behavior, writing and more.
